“Best place in the area”
Jan 23, 2011
I stayed for 5 days at Beijia and everything was perfect. An eco-friendly boutique hotel. The rooms are very minimalist but still cozy, the outdoors shower is spectacular, super comfortable beds. The food at the restaurant is incredible, and other restaurants in the area are just as good, seems like high cuisine chefs decided to retire in the area. The pool is big a nice, and is it a very quiet area, so only the nature's noises will bother you. Great hotel! Definitely my first choice in the area.

“Beautiful atmosphere, great rooms, and helpful staff!”

Beautiful place. The rooms were just perfect. The pool area and yoga deck were great! Such a relaxing place to stay. The staff are so friendly and are open to help you with anything and everything. It is a little bit out of town so I recommend you to rent an ATV or some sort of vehicle which the front desk will arrange for you. I would not change one thing about my stay here. Great food as well!! The Nicoya Penisula is a wonderful place. Don't forget to try surfing.

“Classic Paradise”

After traveling many hours along Costa Rica's unpaved roads at dawn. My friends and I arrived at Beija Flor around 1 AM. Everything was closed, including the reception desk. Luckily, we were greeted my the premise guard and he handed us our keys. We were struck my the cleanliness of the room and it's beauty. Upon waking up in the morning, we were greeted by a family of monkeys dangling from a tree at the entrance way. It was spectacular. The entire place was beyond our expectation. The servers were amazing and they created dishes that weren't even on the menu. They made us feel at home and everyone from the owner to the staff were stellar, beyond expectation. There was beauty all around us, including the people. I truly enjoyed everything about Beija Flor. My friends and I dined and checked out numerous places while we were staying in Mal Pais, but they pale in comparison to Beija Flor. It was simply magical and elegant in every way possible.

“Piece of heaven on earth”

It was my first time in Costa Rica. Beija Flor Resort was highly recomended by a friend. To start, the service was excellent even before I have gotten there. My reservation was easily done by email. All my questions and concerns answered in a very professional and timely manner. Once I have arrived things got even better. The check in process was fast, professional and very friendly. After leaving my luggage in my rooom, which by the way was clean, safe, cozy and plain adorable I went for a snack at the restaurant. The food at the resort deserves its own review. It offered a great variety of delicious, healthy, fresh, local and gourmet dishes and with a great variety of fruit juices made by order. Beija Flor is a very well decorated resort with a Bali vibe in it. The place is surronded by nature and animal sounds. The pools are clean and the lounge areas are very inviting and perfect for reading a book, having a drink or just sitting and enjoying the beauty of the place. The yoga deck at dusk offers a rain of fireflyes that I have never seen anywhere else. You can sit there and watch this beautiful nature show and wonder how the simplest things in life are so amazing. The vibe of the whole resort feels fantastic, the energy of a well managed and kept property mix with the wonders of the Costa Rican beauty and wilderness are an irressistivel combination for a great relaxing vacation.
